In the following evaluation, I will deal with the doctrine of Kenneth E. Hagin, because it is his teachings that are the common basis for all the various branches of the Faith movement.
Some of these branches may appear to be sounder than others. However, we will not be able to eradicate the root of the evil simply by making a few adjustments and by emphasising certain neglected areas a bit more — while still retaining the fundamental points of the teaching.
It can, of course, be very nice and cosy to be a member of a Faith church where there is great emphasis on love, fellowship, compassion, and pastoral care. But, if you want to be delivered from the horrific developments that I have seen in the movement, it will be necessary to decisively reject and completely break with the fundamental ideas that originate with Hagin’s doctrines.
